Danko Steiner studied design and photography at the University of Zagreb, Croatia where he majored in graphic design. After moving to New York he worked as a graphic designer at V, Visionaire and US Harper's Bazaar where he held the position of Design Director. In 2004 he became the Art Director of US Vogue and was promoted to Design Director in 2008. While at the helm of those prestigious publications Danko worked alongside the most established and influential talents in the fashion industry. In 2010, he decided to leave Vogue and dedicate his time to photography and experimental work in the fields of film and video.
