Tracey Baran currently lives and works in New York. Baran was the recipient of the Henry Buhl Foundation Grant First Prize in 2002. Her work in has been included in exhibitions at the Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao, Folkwang Museum, Essen, Germany, The Museum of Contemporary Photography, Chicago, The Milwaukee Art Museum, Pusan Metropolitan Art Museum, South Korea, and P.S. 1, New York, amongst others.
